Avermedia’s Core Go is a USB PD charger, that also acts as a dock for the Nintendo Switch (1&2), as well as the Steam Deck and some other platforms. It’s got an HDMI-out that supports up to 4K60, as well as a USB input port for connecting controllers, keyboards and mice. It comes with a really high quality USB cable and it priced cheaper than an official Switch dock, but more expensive than other 3rd party options. And the Elite Go is the same thing, but with a low-quality USB capture card built-in, for about $40 more. Check out the short review above for details, with more info below the links:

While cheap 3rd party solutions are probably the right answer for just a replacement Switch dock, I think the Core Go is a great product for someone looking for a really small form factor dock and charger. I could absolutely see myself using it while traveling to charge my phone and laptop…but then also using it as a portable Switch dock. In the context of something like that, I think it’s absolutely worth the money. I’m not sure how it differs from alternatives like this one from JSAux that claims to support 4K120 as well though – Maybe someone trusted in the scene can do a deep-dive test on it?
That said, unless I’m missing something (very possible) the Elite Go is far more niche. As I said in the video, maybe it’s best for a college dorm (or my old NYC studio apartment) where every inch of space matters? Because you can pick up the Core Go, an awesome HDMI splitter and a cheap USB capture device for less money, covering more functionality and use cases. I think it’s cool it exists, but my guess is the Core Go sells a lot more.
