Report RSS Half-Life: Retrograde Mod - Post Disaster Update

I've spent a lot of time adding additional content to the origional post-disaster maps to flesh them out, adding more visual story telling and action sequences to really make the world feel a lot more alive. This has included extending and reconnecting existing maps, as well as adding new ones to make the maps flow a lot better.

To follow up to the previous post, I also wanted to show the upgrades to the post-disaster scenes within the mod. Check out the video below and let me know what you think, as I feel it might go a little bit of a way to show why a lot of the screenshots I post are quite dark... destruction!

New and Improved maps

I've spent a lot of time adding additional content to the origional post-disaster maps to flesh them out, adding more visual story telling and action sequences to really make the world feel a lot more alive. This has included extending and reconnecting existing maps, as well as adding new ones to make the maps flow a lot better.

With that though, comes a lot of work. At the start of the mod you're going to be back tracking through areas that you've previously visited to see the aftermath of the disaster, which includes upgrading all of the maps that I've previously visually upgraded, so thats my next job!

I've also been spending a lot of time improving the small visual and audio elements, adding sound zones, ambience, sparks, and little particle effects thanks to the Featureful SDK!
